We Provide kayak and canoe trips below Hoover Dam in scenic Black Canyon and on Lake
Mead, a National Park that's very close to Las Vegas. We have many people who want to get
away from the city for the day that paddle with us as we are only a half hour from the Las
Vegas strip casinos.

Our guided kayak trips are our specialty, and Black Canyon is extremely popular.  Our guides
are professionals in their field, each being trained in river rescues, First Aid and CPR, as well as
knowledgeable in the history of the canyon and surrounding terrain.  Upon arrival at our shop
you will be fitted with a  paddle and a life vest, meet your guide, and fill out some
paperwork.  Then it's time to travel to the launch area at the base of the mighty Hoover
Dam - a sight in itself!  After a brief safety speech and some basic paddling instructions, you
will begin your journey down the most famous river in the West.  Passing wildlife such as
desert bighorn sheep and peregrine falcons, you will wind your way through towering walls of
hardened lava.   Several stops at side canyons allow explorations and time to soak in the
natural hot springs.  In the winter, steam rises off the heated pools as the warmth of the
mineral water invites you to relax and let go of your worries.  Further down river you will stop
in the shade of a mesquite for a delicious healthy lunch.  The remainder of your day will be
spent paddling into caves, exploring beaches, and visiting other historical relics which still lie in
the heart of the canyon.

We stand above other companies with better equipment, service, and meals.  On a guided
trip, your kayak will be high performance and lightweight; all kayaks are equipped with
rudders for easy steering.  Your paddle will be lightweight and we supply you with a dry bag
to keep the essential items safe.  Your guide will take you to see hidden canyons and spots
often missed by others.  We serve fresh food prepared right in front of you, and our meals
are always complimented with fresh fruits, nuts, and berries.  Bottled water, juices, and
snacks are also provided.

If you are looking to spend more time in the canyon,  you may want to look into our
multi-day trips.  Spend a few days exploring deep into the side canyons, eating a hearty
dinner around the campfire, and sleeping out under the stars.  Relax and read while the river
bubbles and churns in the background, or enjoy the solitude while catching up on your
journal writing.  Bird watching is popular in cooler weather. and winter months offer mild
temperatures perfect for camping, hiking, and hot-spring soaking.  Quality high-end camping
equipment such as tents, sleeping bags and pads, and cooking equipment is included on
guided overnight trips.

We would enjoy showing you our wilderness experience that's not too far from Las Vegas.
